Terms & Conditions – Dharavi Slum Tour

  1. Booking & Confirmation

    • Advance booking is required to secure your spot.

    • Full payment must be made at the time of booking.

    • A confirmation voucher will be shared via email/WhatsApp after successful payment.

  2. Tour Timings

    • Please arrive at the meeting point at least 15 minutes before the scheduled time.

    • Tours operate on a strict schedule. Late arrivals may miss the group and no refund will be provided.

  3. Cancellations & Refunds

    • Cancellation made 48 hours or more before the tour: Full refund.

    • Cancellation made less than 48 hours before the tour: No refund.

    • No refunds for “No-Shows” or late arrivals.

    • In case of unforeseen circumstances (bad weather, local events, strikes), we reserve the right to reschedule or cancel the tour with a full refund.

  4. Photography & Videography

    • Photography inside Dharavi is strictly restricted to protect the privacy of residents.

    • Your guide will advise when and where photography is permitted.

    • Unauthorized photography or filming may result in immediate termination of the tour.

  5. Code of Conduct

    • Please dress modestly (no sleeveless tops, short shorts, or revealing clothes).

    • Respect local customs, traditions, and privacy of residents.

    • Avoid giving money or gifts directly to residents, especially children.

    • Smoking, alcohol, or drugs are strictly prohibited during the tour.

  6. Health & Safety

    • The tour involves walking through narrow lanes, uneven paths, and busy areas – participants should be in reasonable health and fitness.

    • Not recommended for travelers with mobility issues, respiratory problems, or severe medical conditions.

    • Participants are responsible for their own belongings; the company will not be liable for loss or theft.

  7. Children Policy

    • Children above 7 years are welcome but must be accompanied by an adult.

    • Parents/guardians are responsible for their child’s safety throughout the tour.

  8. Liability

    • India Trip Explore and its guides are not responsible for accidents, injuries, loss of property, or delays beyond our control.
